but an adventure to hone a craft. Baking has always had a special place in my heart with memories of my mom, grandma, and I in the kitchen. It has become a defining part of who I am and has been a continuous journey of expressing myself, culturally and creatively.
My philosophy behind why I bake is because it can bring a sense of joy and happiness. What better way to comfort someone than a warm chocolate chip cookie?
This line of work has taught me transferable skills that I have brought outside of the kitchen, such as to work hard and efficiently, to be prepared, strive for the best results, never cut corners, to think quickly and have accountability.
